Direct replacement in my 1215 PS4 and so far it works fine. Dropped in fine, no fitting issues. No problem booting, shutting down, or staying in rest mode. Haven't seen any instability while under heavy draw. Controllers still charge while in rest mode. The casing of the replacement unit DOES NOT have the adhesive foam on it that my original PS4 had, but it's not really necessary.Will revisit this again if the PSU dies prematurely, but as of now I have no complaints. $40 is a lot cheaper than a trip to the console repair place and the lowest price I've seen these units go for.
