Product worked perfectly...AFTER I added my original sister board too It. There are two boards in your PS4, if you have an older one like me. These two boards will not communicate if you use the one that comes with this new disk drive. Once you swap out the smaller boards you are good to go. Really quick fix that saved me a few hundred bucks, my PS4 is whisper quiet and I don’t have to stand It up to run disks, also that disk read error is gone.Only con I can think of is that the new disk drive has a little bit of glue on one of the screws which made It a little difficult to switch the sister board out. Don’t be Afraid to bend It a bit to get the ribbon connection tight.
